First Sunday Durell (Ice Cube) and LeeJohn (Tracy Morgan) are best friends and bumbling petty criminals. When told they have one week to pay a $17,000 debt or Durell will lose his son, they come up with a desperate scheme to rob their neighborhood church. Instead, they end up spending the night in the presence of the Lord and are forced to deal with much more than they bargained for.

It is set to be released January 11,2008, in America, and throughout Europe in April 2008. At present, the only cast members are Ice Cube, Katt Williams, Tracy Morgan and P. J. Byrne. Ice Cube said in an interview he hoped it would star himself and Mike Epps. The director is David E. Talbert, who is also writing and producing the film. This will be his first feature film.
